We move ‘expeditiously’ here at Expedite.
Expedite is an easy-to-use mobile app for the legal industry that eliminates inefficiencies and streamlines the process of procuring last-minute and future legal support services; i.e., court reporters, videographers and interpreters. Utilizing GPS-enabled smartphone technology, attorneys and paralegals can instantly locate, schedule and pay for qualified providers in the immediate vicinity.
Our user base is growing, and we thrive on their feedback. We value all this input and work to incorporate as much of it back into the Expedite App as soon as we can.
We wanted to take a quick minute to share details on some of the latest enhancements, some of which is based directly on your feedback.
Many people have asked about incentives to recommend Expedite to others. We loved this idea and made it a priority. In the Provider mode (the view for court reporters, videographers, interpreters, et cetera) we’ve added two new features. The first is “Invite Friends.” This feature generates a user-specific code that you can send to friends and colleagues. It can be shared directly from the app by linking with your favorite social media platform; i.e., text, Facebook or email. When your friend clicks on the link, they are immediately taken to the App Store or Google Play to download Expedite. The entire process takes just a few seconds.
When your friends sign up, you will receive a referral credit. You can view this in the second new update, the “referral credit” bar on the main provider screen. Referral credits are money in your pocket. Credits allow you to keep a higher percentage of the appearance fee.
Other updates to this version include a Help Button that takes you to a comprehensive FAQ page located on the mobile website. Need more help? We also created an instant-chat feature directly within the app. We’ve also tweaked the 5-star rating system to allow everyone to see comments made about Users and Providers, and we’ve incorporated a more robust and obvious call and/or text feature that’s easier to access.
